When life hands you lemons...

What does any self respecting homeschool family do?
We make LEMONADE, of course!

We also had a bunch of satsumas.  The kids peeled them.  Gracie had a special job of pulling the pieces apart.  We spread them on a pan and put them in to freeze.  We'll see how it works.  I figured we'd take them out the when we pack a picnic lunch and see if they've defrosted enough by lunch time!

Hi, I don't have a blog, but I came across your blog from another adoptive parent. I was just going to look and go, as it is neat to see other families adoption stories, when I noticed your daughter, adopted from China as my youngest, is missing part of her arm. My daughter, similar age to yours, was born with missing bits as well. Identifying with others seems very important for our daughter - other Chinese people and others with missing parts. We are a Christian family, and I thought our daughters might enjoy communicating sometimes, perhaps via email through us once in a while. I would email you this, but did not see a spot for that. I would share a little more personally about our family, but as this is a post, thought this would be enough. Is there a way to email you if you don't mind our daughters connecting up? All the best,
mercymom.
